If you only go to one fire festival in your life, make it the KFF!
The Kyiv Fire Festival is one of the most spectacular events in Eastern Europe. Audiences from Kyiv and all over Ukraine come to watch fire shows by companies from around the world.
The first KFF took place in 2007. Since then it has kept growing and has become an international event: more than 20,000 spectators attend the various shows and activities.
But the KFF is not just shows for the general public. It is also a huge camp not far from Kyiv, where fire jugglers and fire breathers gather for several days: workshops, meetings, sharing, fire battles…
On this trip I was also given the Kyiv Fire Fest artist’s certificate, one of the honours I am proudest of.
